What type of materials do you use?
Our gorgeous layette collections are made by using only the finest blend of ultra-fine yarn count and long-staple cotton. Every piece we sell is made through an ethical, chemical-free, and toxin-free process that protects the material and is gentle on your baby’s skin at the same time. We use unique gauge and fabric settings to ensure that every piece of clothing is breathable and soft, a feel only the finest, most exclusive fabrics can bring.
What is GOTS certified organic cotton?
GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. It’s the leading standard for organic fibres that meet the highest ecological and social criteria. All cotton materials we use are made through a GOTS-certified process without using any genetic modification to bring you and your precious nothing but the highest-grade, most comfortable babywear.
Why should I buy organic materials?
Organic materials are produced from non-genetically modified plants and without using any toxic chemicals like fertilizers and pesticides. Our organic materials are gentle on your baby’s skin and won’t cause any allergies or rashes, something that we often see with chemically modified, cheap materials.
Are organic materials durable?
Organic cotton is made from thinner and softer natural fibres that are handpicked to preserve the strength and length of each fibre. Thanks to this, all materials made with handpicked cotton fibres are more durable and stronger. All chemicals and toxins used in non-organic processes damage the cotton fibres and makes them more prone to tearing, which is why non-organic cotton clothes last shorter and tear easier.
In our manufacturing process, we use only GOTS-certified cotton to ensure that our products are ethical, soft, and last longer.
How should I wash your babywear products?
Organic cotton is a textile unaffected by a chemical process and it can shrink if not washed properly. To preserve its quality and shape, use a cold wash it with similarly coloured clothes, wash it inside out, use normal or mild detergent, and shape it while it’s still damp. Most importantly, wash the clothes at a maximum of 30° C water temperature.
Are the designs of the clothes unique?
All prints and designs you see in our layette collection are made by proud Australian designers. Each piece is unique and specially designed for our brand to match the luxurious look and design of our collections.
